Beauty in flight, a song bird in earnest

A gliding hawk to its unsuspecting prey

To bring the wings at rest in feast

A super without prayer, preparation in savagery

Harder and harder the drive to fly effortlessly

Weighed down by a promise of fullness

Temporal in its nature of transient folly

Regurgitation holding out to hunger less

Chop and change, rhythm of swallowing

Breaking down to discernible parts

Ego dancing with attained knowing

Wisdom left to open hearts

A belch to affirm a sense of satisfaction

Full belly gassing its way home

As hunger for next meal haunts the notion

For bodily needs will always come
