Shred your skin, invert your musings

For nothing in life works the way we are taught

True wisdom lies in the loins of despair

For how are we to grow without the whip?

Whipped we are by life cyclic motions

To keep moving is to keep living

Fancies, temporary distractions on the fence

Where feeble men hang for profit

A poor exchange for your soul value

That only lays the golden egg in love

At the pounding heart of compassion

Graced by humility and hard work

Fervent talent strengthening muscles of soul

Keeping us hungry to search for more

In a place of plenty with a vail of scarcity

That only those truly hungry can peer through
