Author of your Life Bid

What is a rose but beautiful picture of hope

Never forgotten by those who need it most

Tugged by an invisible dangling rope

To haul the feeble at no cost

A gentle thorny slippery slope

Cautionary approach towards its prick

Bound as a protective cleaning mope

To cleanse all illusionary tricks

Petals open in full exemplary bloom

An assembly of glorious colours

Swept by a visionary broom

A fitting reception in nature’s parlour

Propagation of a timely cutting rite

Passing on the next generation seed

In harnessing an existential right

To be the Author of your life bid
