Strawberry red, shadow of pleasure

Oozing pink, yet without pain

The summer is ripe, eat at leisure

Indulge your taste buds off the spring plain

Eat of fresh waters of strawberries pink

Learn the workings of your inner core

In larva, hot and spicy to awaken a crink

From all amnesia stored in each pore

Shifts in red, blossoms off the mountain top

Erupting fire in crevices of change

Waves so deep, a harvest of the mountain crop

Gathering of prestigious range

Come hither to the mountain top

Where rangers take the fruit so ripe

And shepherds herd in last season’s crop

A follower’s despair in times full of tripe
